Above the Kitchen Cabinets

One of the finishing touches I couldn't wait to do in the kitchen was filling the space about the cabinets. The space isn't that tall so finding things to fit was a bit of a challenge.

Pretty much everything above the cabinets was purchased at Hobby Lobby. A few things were from Home Goods and Joss and Main (Love this site!)

I am not 100% set on how it is now and will probably move a few 

things around on the section above the microwave, but for now it will do :)

I have been a bit obsessed with lanterns lately. :)
There are 4 total above the cabinets

Dish towel on stove from Joss and Main 

decorative bowl from Home Goods, everything else from Hobby Lobby

I used 4 floral garland from Hobby Lobby across the top all the way around

One Year Home Anniversary

I bought my house a year ago on May 2nd! 

I think it has come a long way and I am very proud

 and happy with how it looks so far!
